1. Data Controller

The Asociación Juvenil HackSea (hereinafter referred to as "HackSea" or "the association"), based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, Tax ID G26953026, and contact email team@hacksea.org, is the controller of your personal data. Please note that the entity is currently in the legal incorporation process.

2. Purpose and Recipients

We process your information for the following purposes:

• Event Management: We use the Meetup platform to organize technical workshops. By joining, your data will be subject to that platform's policies, and HackSea will process it to manage your attendance and resources.
• Communications: Sending notifications about events and news. You may revoke this consent at any time.
• Talent Pool: Processing CVs to connect you with partner companies, always subject to prior communication and explicit consent.

3. Lawfulness and Retention

The legal basis is your explicit consent. CVs will be stored for a maximum of 12 months unless you express opposition. Before this period expires, the association will contact you to proceed with its update, further retention, or final deletion. Contact data will be kept as long as you do not request its erasure.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, limit processing, and port your data by writing to team@hacksea.org. Furthermore, we inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you consider that your rights have not been duly addressed.
